Innerscapes consists of Respighis string quartet Quartetto Dorico plus two pieces for quartet and mezzo soprano: Samuel Barbers Dover Beach Op. 3 and Respighis Il Tramonto.
This concert will feature mezzo soprano Kate Aldrich. Aldrich, who grew up in Damariscotta, has made a name for herself around the world performing major roles in the worlds greatest opera houses (the Met, La Scala, San Francisco) with opera greats including Placido Domingo.
The DaPonte String Quartet, Maines premier string ensemble, is in its 26th year as a group.
